Project Highlights:
- Coded critical processes such as Student Refunds into Accounts Payable, as well as State Payroll Reimbursement for PeopleSoft Financial implementation. Project completed on time, and greatly reduced expenditures.
- Designed and deployed all-in-one Financial Report (SQR-Structured Query Reporter) showcasing delta between Budgets and Actuals, Journal to Transaction Details, and Verification Worksheet. - Led PeopleSoft Financial Upgrade to v8.4, encompassing product configuration, staff training, and reapplication of required modifications. Reduced production offline time from two weeks to three days through superior project management and improvements.
- Conceived and developed new budgeting system in PeopleSoft utilizing advanced web features such as graphical trees, quick Excel report output, and flexible inquiry pages. Reduced budget preparation time from one month to one day.
- Served as Technical Expert for PeopleSoft Student Upgrade to v8.9, including building a new cashier receipt, reducing printing time from two minutes to less than five seconds, resolving issues, successfully installing address verification software, and configuring credit card/electronic check processing.
- Served as Lead Architect and Designer of Financial and Student Data Warehouse encompassing budgeting, hardware/software selection, new hire interviews, logical design, creation of executive dashboards, and liaising between data warehouse team and Information Systems department.
- Installed software such as Hyperion Solutions v9.3 and Oracle Warehouse Builder, crafted Powershell scripting for backups/service restarts, and slashed report composition times from several days to two seconds.
